Topic: Finite Landscape of Supergravity

Abstract: In this talk I will present recent progress on understanding the structure and consistency of supergravity theories from the perspective of the Swampland program, with emphasis on the finiteness conjecture and the string lamppost principle. I will explain how these conjectures can be realized in theories with 32, 16, and 8 supercharges through a new framework that couples half-BPS strings to supergravity as non-perturbative probes.
