Abstract: Energy correlators provide a new way to study QCD by resolving the angular flow of energy produced in high-energy collisions. At small angles, the Energy-Energy Correlator exhibits two distinct regimes: a perturbative pre-confinement scaling region governed by quark and gluon splittings, and a non-perturbative post-confinement plateau reflecting the formation of hadrons. In this talk, I will discuss how the scaling of this post-confinement regime with the hard scale Q can be described using the light-ray operator product expansion and its connection to the dihadron fragmentation function. This provides a bridge between formal light-ray operator methods and phenomenological descriptions of hadron formation. I will also discuss the potential of the scaling as a new precision handle on the strong coupling constant.
